The client consigned this work to be completed using photos from his old family album. A total of six photos were combined in the fashion to tell the story of day to day life on his family farm.

Grandad's super 8

The client's Grandfather's pride and joy was his Packard Super 8.

 

The joke in the family was that Grandad could never travel far from a petrol station.

 

The packard super 8 had one of the worsed fuel consuption equalling the Rolls Royce.

 

The Post Office Suly

Info

This was consigned by the brother of a sulky collector and restorer who also runs a museum in Armidale. The scene is of a Sulky that was restored which was used to deliver mail. The post office in the distant was the Hillgrove post office which was on the deliverers route.

The painting is not accurate to the actual landscape but an artist romantic impression of the story of the country postman.

Bowtell Homestead

Painting on Crosscut of Australian Homestead.

The Clients family came from the Bowtell Homestead. The client supplied photos of the house and Rusty researched the internet and google maps to gain as much information to ensure the finished painting captures the history of the homestead.

The Bay Fisher

The client's father inlaw owned the bay Kingfisher and fished for kingfish in the bays of New Zealand.

The father inlaw on his first long overdue holiday returned to find his boat had broken it's moar and during a violent storm and never seen again.

Enright Transport Milkcan

                         Enright Transport is a family owned business and founded by the client's uncle who employed the client's father and aunty. Two of the first trucks in his fleet was a 1945 KR-11 International (red) and a 1945 Cab Over Comer.

                         After the sale of the transport business his father registered the furniture removal business in 1962 at Maroochydore Queensland and is presently operating at Kunda Park under the Enright familt name.
