ABOUT RUSTY

Rusty has been painting in oils for 40 odd years, starting out as a teenager he painted surreal fantasy style using small tins of aircraft model enamel paint.

In the 1980's his father introduced him to artist oils and from there oil painting became an addiction.

In the early 1990's after meeting and befriending artist Colin Brown, Rusty branched into painting on old relics.

Rusty has painted on Hand Saws, Frying Pans, Milk Cans Teapots to Teaspoons the only thing he doesn't paint on is people as their resale value is not very good.

In the 1990's Rusty travel the country in an old international bus, selling his art work at markets and festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival to the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival and a lot of markets in between.
